Standing Computing Tomography

Standing distal limb CT allows for high-resolution imaging of the horse's limbs without the need for general anesthesia or sedation. This non-invasive technique has significantly reduced the stress and risks associated with traditional CT scans, enabling us to obtain precise and accurate imaging. By offering a clear visualization of bones, joints, and soft tissues, Standing CT has immensely benefited the diagnosis and treatment of various musculoskeletal conditions in horses. The introduction of our Standing CT provides real-time, weight-bearing images and allows us to assess lameness issues more effectively and make informed treatment decisions promptly. Standing CT allows the horse to remain standing comfortably throughout the imaging process. This procedure utilizes a unique scanning system that is specifically designed for horses. By employing cone-beam CT technology, combined with advanced algorithms, three-dimensional images of the horse's lower limbs can be generated with remarkable clarity and detail.

Having access to the most cutting edge technologies and tools available, means getting the most definitive diagnosis for the horse.
